Spring Photo Shoot, and New Bamboo Styles
We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world in Springtime don't we? I have so much gratitude that we can run our local -made in Canada- clothing line from our two shops in Vancouver, and on Bowen Island where we began. Other than the fabric (which is made in Quebec, and under the very strict Canadian toxins guidelines), Movement Global truly represents 100-mile fashion.
Last weekend we spent a gorgeous and fun four hours shooting some of our latest sustainable fashion designs from just outside our flagship store at Bowen Islands' Artisan Square. Bowen local Robyn Westcott, and her boyfriend Mitch volunteered their time to help us with the shoot, and were so lovely and fun to work with!
Robyn and Mitch are both actors now based in Vancouver, but still love coming back to the island for some RnR.
Robyn loves wearing Movement Global clothing because they are "...fashionable but still super comfortable." Mitch loves the thermally regulating quality that is inherent in bamboo saying, " they are great clothes for an active lifestyle, not too hot and not too cold.”
Thanks Mitch and Robyn!
Below Mitch is wearing the MT3 the mens reversible Hanson Hoodie in charcoal mix and Black $136 with the MP3 Jessie pant in charcoal $136
Robyn is wearing our P10 Pietra crop legging $79 that many of our customer live in with the favourite dolman sleeve T47 Betty top in charcoal mix.
Robyn rests in the new bamboo slub T60 Vicky V neck $86 which is longer in the back than the front. The bamboo slub has a wonderful light feel and drape. Here is is paired with the Sk15 Phoebe single layered skirt $126. Both pieces have U hemlines which mirror each other and have a flattering silhouette.
