Last month's Give Away winner is the gorgeous Stephanie van Willigenberg. Stephanie is a math professor at UBC, who loves the versatility and endless combinations of our modular bamboo clothes, and especially loves them for travelling! ( a frequent theme with our clothing)
Stephanie gave us 5 stars in her Google Plus review saying:
Movement Global is perfect. I love the comfy bamboo that is also super chic, and always reversible...either the colours or the style - 2 pieces for one! When I gave a high profile presentation at a conference in April I got many compliments on my dress, which came out my bag uncrushed and good to go. Who knew you could do week-long business trips with hand luggage...thanks to the clothing's versatility. Also the shop assistants are very solicitous (but never pushy) and Sigrun in particular is awesome with honest advice!
Thank you Stephanie! Our loyal customers are the reason why we have enjoyed our business so much these past 11 years!
Get in on the action!

Come join us this Thursday September 15, from 5-9pm for a Fashion on Fourth celebration.
We will be breaking out the wine and cheese and fashion, and showing off our huge new store re-do! We had a complete store makeover done by Jessica Elliot in early September to energize our Vancouver shop, and make it easier to showcase all of our modular styles.
We have had so many positive comments about our new look, and all of our staff love it too!
If you have ever tried to run a store with all jersey/soft clothing then you know it's so easy to get stuck in a world of stacked folded piles! Jessica did an amazing job getting our clothes out of piles, and onto hangers and displayed so that our customers can really see and find our clothes.
Come out and celebrate with us, and check out our new look!
It's hard to believe! It's been 2 years since we opened our doors in one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Kitsilano Vancouver.
Come celebrate with us!
We are having a party at our store on 4th avenue, this Saturday August 20th from 1-7 pm, and we want you to come join us :)
Wine and cheese: what's a party without a little refreshment? We will be hosting with a glass of vino, and some of our favourite cheeses. Non alcoholic beverages will also be available.
Amazing raffles and prizes: there will be hundreds of dollars in in-store credits to go towards a purchase of your choice.
For directions click here or refer to the map below.
We hope to see you there!

We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world in Springtime don't we? I have so much gratitude that we can run our local -made in Canada- clothing line from our two shops in Vancouver, and on Bowen Island where we began. Other than the fabric (which is made in Quebec, and under the very strict Canadian toxins guidelines), Movement Global truly represents 100-mile fashion.
Last weekend we spent a gorgeous and fun four hours shooting some of our latest sustainable fashion designs from just outside our flagship store at Bowen Islands' Artisan Square. Bowen local Robyn Westcott, and her boyfriend Mitch volunteered their time to help us with the shoot, and were so lovely and fun to work with!
Robyn and Mitch are both actors now based in Vancouver, but still love coming back to the island for some RnR.
Robyn loves wearing Movement Global clothing because they are "...fashionable but still super comfortable." Mitch loves the thermally regulating quality that is inherent in bamboo saying, " they are great clothes for an active lifestyle, not too hot and not too cold.”
Thanks Mitch and Robyn!
Below Mitch is wearing the MT3 the mens reversible Hanson Hoodie in charcoal mix and Black $136 with the MP3 Jessie pant in charcoal $136
Robyn is wearing our P10 Pietra crop legging $79 that many of our customer live in with the favourite dolman sleeve T47 Betty top in charcoal mix.
Robyn rests in the new bamboo slub T60 Vicky V neck $86 which is longer in the back than the front. The bamboo slub has a wonderful light feel and drape. Here is is paired with the Sk15 Phoebe single layered skirt $126. Both pieces have U hemlines which mirror each other and have a flattering silhouette.
